Then at 7 she turned to me after Palm Sunday and said
"So, what's all this Easter business about anyway?"
There's four years of Sunday School wasted.*

The Bunny was simple. We had a stuffed rabbit that appeared on Easter morning at the end of a trail of eggs, holding a big egg. All seemed perfectly sensible to the BA.

* Interestingly, the questions are now starting to get quite perceptive and challenging, as you would expect.Arizaphalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11402602175460446158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13611612.post-5620834983896694532009-04-10T15:38:00.000-05:002009-04-10T15:38:00.000-05:00we told Jake that easter is the beginning of sprin...we told Jake that easter is the beginning of spring, and the earth comes back to life in the spring and the birds lay eggs and the flowers bloom and the baby animals are born, especially bunnies and chicks. and we eat chocolate because it tastes better than bunnies and eggsLorahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11721629115039897949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13611612.post-85486696350223107772009-04-10T15:09:00.000-05:002009-04-10T15:09:00.000-05:00Now that you mention it, why does a rabbit bring u...Now that you mention it, why does a rabbit bring us eggs and candy? Rain and tears threatened to bring the first annual to a screeching halt until the gal behind the counter brought out the Redi Whip. We followed that up with a trip to the "car doctor" to get the oil changed. Some ideas are perhaps more sustainable than others... :)

Happy Anthropomorphic Bunny Day weekend!susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01231786641690095728noreply@blogger.com
