I just realized that the ABC song has the exact same melody as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. What gives?

Not sure what gives, but "Baa, Baa Black Sheep" shares the tune as well...
I totally realized this a few months ago and was shocked and amazed. Even more shocking is that the folks I mentioned it to all looked at me like "Duh, you're just figuring this out."
