Blogging On Empty

I really don't have much to say lately. Sorry about that. The kids are tag-team napping, leaving me with zero down time. Plus I've been trying to get to the gym everyday in order to keep up with my weight loss efforts. (I'm down another half a pound since last week. Woo Hoo!)

As a bonus, nothing interesting is happening here. Not a single thing. We're getting tons of quotes for work we plan to do on the house. Lucy is rolling with reckless abandon. I'm still digging out from the mountain of laundry accumulated over the past week, what with the company and all. So yeah. Not very entertaining, huh?

I could write about the insanity of some shyster sales guy quoting us a price of $36,000 to put windows up on our front porch. And how after we told him he was nuts and that we weren't interested he sat in our living room for 45 minutes trying to convince us while our dinner got cold. By the time we got him to leave, SOB was really to punch him as hard as he punched his demo window to show us how, "nuthin' is breakin' this glass!" Unlike his nose, which would have surely been fractured if SOB wasn't so good at controlling his rage.

I could write about how Sam is double-O-C (out of control, for those of you not in the know) with his new bed. It's gotten so bad that we have contemplated putting the crib back up. Ever since daylight savings kicked in, he just hangs out and plays for, oh, TWO FREAKING HOURS after we put him to bed. And yes, we've tried putting him to bed later. No dice. Nap time is tons of fun as well.

But I won't. It would just bore you. ;)
