Life with Lucy just got a lot more interesting. First of all, there's this:
Crawling in full force. Nothing is safe anymore. She can also climb with alarming agility and is pulling herself up to at least her knees and occasionally to a full stand. All of these new skills were developed and honed over the course of seven days. One (insert expletive here) week. I am so not ready for this child!
Naturally she was quite proud of her accomplishments. What nearly-eleven-month-old wouldn't be?
So she decided to start clapping as well. At least I can keep up with her on that one.

Oh boy...what a fun/scary time this is!! I felt like I aged years in the few months my son was learning to walk!! She is absolutely adorable!

How fun! Mobility does open up a whole new world, doesn't it? She is just so adorable -- and that big, bright smile in the second shot -- heart melting!
