How is it possible that 48 hours ago we had zero little people in our house, and now we seem to have every member of the entire little people universe and their pets? For reals. Our kids haven't even opened the presents underneath our own tree yet because they are still so overwhelmed with the gift giving back at the grandparents. Next year I am seriously making a gift registry for the kids and making everyone stick to it! I am absolutely no fun at all!

On the positive side they will make a nice garage sale (carboot sale/ebay sale??) in the future!
Sounds like a good time to make a donation! I go through my child's toys each year and donate (including really good stuff!) to goodwill. If they can't play with it all then share the wealth with other kiddos. Funny part is that my child doesn't even really notice what is missing.
