The Bitch Is Back

Warning: this post might be a little too much for the boys to handle. Scroll down because I'll be talking football at the end!

All week I've been feeling pretty meh. Sam barely slept at all on Wednesday AND Thursday nights, so I didn't leave the house for a few days. I felt pretty bloated, but I attributed that to my lack of exercise. I mean, other than walking from bed to crib to fridge to bathroom and back to bed, I barely moved for two days. So I was quite surprised yesterday morning when I got my period. For the first time in 510 days! Hooray! I was really getting used to the whole no menstruation thing. I only had a single tampon in the house. Luckily, I made this annoying discovery just moments before we left the house, and not moments after we left the house and my lone tampon. I woke up this morning with cramps! Cramps! I've been cramp-free for 17 months. Aside from that whole labor thing. Which obviously was a teeny bit worse, but fairly short lived. I'm a little anxious because I went on birth control at 14 to help curb the uncontrollable vomiting that used to accompany my period. And raging headaches. So far, not so bad.

In better news, I get to watch the Eagles today!!! After just having watched them house the Packers on Monday Night! And I might even get to see them next weekend when I'm in Pittsburgh! (Side note: I'm never getting on another plane after I get back from Pittsburgh. I am totally over planes.) As a bonus, we get to watch the game with Doyle and Kelly! From Philly! Fun times. It'll be even better if the Eagles hand Dallas and T.O. their asses. Some of you old timers might remember how I feel about Mr.Terrell Owens. Hopefully my Eagles defense will give me something to smile about at the end of the day! Who knows, maybe T.O. will be on his period, too, and he'll play like a bitch. I'll bring some extra midol, just in case! We'll just have to keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't OD.

Sounds like what happens to me when I get the old rag. Welcome back to womanhood?

And a warm welcome indeed! So far, it hasn't been too awful. They say having a baby can change things, so maybe I'm lucky and it won't be so bad!

I'm a sucker for chocolate chip cookies and french onion dip, though not necessarily together.
