We've been having the type of summer where it rains every afternoon like clockwork. If it's over early enough, we still try and take Sammy out to the playground afterwards. On Sunday I spied this little spider coming out to investigate the water damage done to his web after a particularly strong storm.

Not a huge fan of spiders, but I do like this "nature" pic. Hope the little guy didn't have too much work to do.

OMG!!! What a sensational shot! Its really surreal at first glance. I hate spiders with a passion (most of them in Australia will kill you) but this is so delicate and...I don't know....awesome! Great work WOL (womb on legs)
I kinda feel sorry for the little guy. I'm always saving spiders in the house. Capturing and releasing. Nice different take on "drip".
I tend to shy away from the eight legged types myself, but this guy was teeny.
