Texture

I love the way these dying flowers look compared to just a few days ago. The once smooth petals are now wilted and wrinkly. So I choose this shot for Theme Thursday. Visit the Land of K.A. for more!

We're shipping out for parts west (Pittsburgh) this afternoon. Sam's big birthday party is this saturday, so expect picture galore when we get home!

I love your more literal take on the theme...the textured roses are beautiful.

As for your comment, yes there are lots of free stuff out there for Photoshop. Just that makes it worth getting Elements at least. You can usually get a pretty good deal on the older releases, too.

I never think to take a photo of my flowers at the end of their lives, but I think I'll try it. Nice take on textures.....beautiful flowers (still!)

Stunning flowers ... even if they are about to die ! The colors are so vibrant. I love the little blue/purple ones mixed in.
