This is my grandfather Dick. He also goes by Andy Smockalovich. He is quite the character, as you can probably tell from this portrait. In his day he's been a butcher, an insurance salesman, a local political figure and the proprietor of a somewhat seedy bar and lounge.
On this particular day he had been taking his 'weird pills,' according to him. I think he takes them most days, to be honest. We are heading back to western PA on Thursday for a big family reunion and we'll be seeing him more than a few times. And he's not even part of the family that is reuniting. Good times!
