What is interesting, too, is that they are not the same blue. Sam's are almost like glass. Clear and bright and the color of the sky. Lucy's are darker, flashing and almost like slate sometimes. But if they catch the proper light, they can also take on a brightness that is hard to capture. Both are stunning and beautiful in their own way.
It almost makes me want to have another, just to see if we'd end up with three blue-eyed children!

What beautiful blue eyes. It is so interesting how their eyes can look so different, but still both be blue.
What I find amazing is how many different hues of blue there really are. People used to say W.W. had blue eyes but when I look at them they are not sky blue by any means. No one in my family has blue eyes until I married my husband so this is a first for us.
I love that first shot. Looking up with those beautiful eyes and pretty smile. :)
I was hoping for brown-eyes (like my hubby) for my girls, too! I would have been very surprised if they came out two different blues, though! They are very beautiful - I esp. love that first one.
OH, love the blue eyes. They are adorable! My kids have different versions of blue eyes, too. My son has the bluer blue eyes.
So beautiful, both of them. Its amazing how different eyes can be. I am shocked I have kids with three different color eyes. Great shots.
Thanks for the great title. Guess who this is?
I knew if you were lurking around you would come out and comment for this title!
Love you brother!
Beautiful blue eyes. Funny how the whole dominant/recessive thing works out. They look especially beautiful with dark hair like in your first photo.
I SO intended to do this theme but failed miserably again. These are great shots though. The BA is another blue eyed babe even though her Dad has hazel and I have green. She has two grandparents and an aunt with blue though.
