Did you know that the fine people at Whole Foods don't like it if you take pictures of their produce unless you are planning to buy it? That's ok, though, because I wanted to make this yummy little appeteaser I read about over at The Pioneer Woman Cooks. Luckily, this all went down before Operation Finger Slice, 2007. Handling jalapenos with a slightly severed finger probably isn't the best idea. ReplyDeleteLove your version of "heat":) Another jalapeno tip I learned the hard way -- don't itch your eye after slicing them! I think I saw the face of God, or the Devil, not sure which as buckets of water poured from my eyeball. Not pretty:) Weird about Whole Foods. We used to live next to one and I lived there, we don't have one out here in the burbs ... oh well. Great post.

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I got kicked out of Ikea a while ago for taking photos in the store. We tried to tell them we were only taking photos for us to remember what the furniture was like later to see if we wanted to buy it but they thought we looked like furniture builders ourselves because they sent us packing. So we bought our stuff elsewhere.
