Foiled Again

Well, my intentions were noble. The travel bed we ordered for Sammy arrived at my parents' house in unusable condition, so we had to set up the very little, very uncomfortable crib. Which doesn't move from room to room like the other one would have. Therefore the computer is practically unavailable most of the time. As I sit here writing this, Sam is in the little crib (pooping his pants, by the way) playing with a rubber duckie. He's been up since 6am, and he's as chipper as can be. Me, not so much. I made him eat peas for breakfast, but of course he loved them! We head back to Atlanta this afternoon, and if I'm lucky I'll be in bed by 7pm. More tomorrow!

Bonus! Our flights are majorly delayed, so we might not even get home today. I'm never leaving my house again.

Hard, hard stuff, being away from home with a baby. And being at home of parents (or other family members)? Harder.

Been there.

Soooooo glad to be back. My folks are pretty helpful, but it's always hard being out of our element.

Also, planes are my new mortal enemy.
