Well, time is up people! Thanks to everyone who participated! There was a seven-way tie between Lora, Michelle, Vanessa, Kristina, Susan, PunditMom and Valerie! The tie breaking question ended up being moot, because no one got it right, so I decided to use a highly technical randomizer to choose a winner. So congratulations to winner Vanessa! Go to the end of the post to hear all about my super scientific randomizer.
So without further ado, here are the answers!
#1 - Baby food - Pork with apples and cabbage. If you look closely, you can see bits of green from the cabbage!
#2 - Cat food - Sliced chicken dinner
#3 - Baby food - Shepard's pie
#4 - Baby food - Cheesy beef casserole. I think the tomatoes are what give it that lovely radioactive glow. By the way, this is Sam's absolute favorite dinner. 
#5 - Cat food - Turkey and giblets feast
#6 - Baby food - Polenta with chicken and apricots
#7 - Cat food - Tender beef dinner

I take no credit Vanessa. They were all from a book called 'Blender Baby Food' and if they weren't sinfully easy to make, I would have never done it!
Susan - the randomizer is just one of those things you didn't even know you had until you see it sitting on your shelf! I have to admit, though, I think mine is fairly adorable!

It's amazing that the randomizer can eat things so cat foody and be so freaking cute at the same time. I guess you really aren't what you eat. Or something.
He's just starting to eat 'real' food now, and I'm freaking out because I still have a freezer full of mushy food!
I tend to get a little too enthusiastic, and I had a free Saturday. Needless to say, I have food cubes of every color!

Best randomizer EVER!
There are still a few glitches in the system, though. The main problem seems to be that once the randomizer pulls out a name, he then puts it directly into his mouth. Maybe version 2.0 will be better!
