Here are a few of my favorite photos from our trip. I usually let the images speak for themselves, but I was overwhelmed with the emotions attached to some of these pictures.
My parents have a picture of my little brother making this exact same face. He was about the same age, and he was at my grandparents' house, which was where we were when I took this. When I saw it I started crying.
My cousin has a baby girl on the 22nd, and we went to visit her on the 26th. I was astounded at how teeny she was, even though she was only a few ounces smaller than Sam was when he was born.
At least pollution makes for some pretty sunsets.
I love the focus on his right eye. When I first started taking close ups of Sammy's eye balls, it was because I wanted to capture the color in case they changed. I'm starting to think that the blue is going to stick.
My grandmother is the queen of pork. 'Nuff said.
This hutch has been in my father's family for at least three generations. When I was little it was at my grandparents' house. There were always goodies and treats in the top drawer, and a cookie jar was always filled on top. Now it resides at my parents' house, and I can't wait until Sam is older so he can sneak candy from it before dinner.

I took so many pictures of the hutch, my family thought I was insane.
Sam could almost eat a steak at this point! He also likes to bite people on the shoulder, so watch out when you're holding him!
Those are lovely photos.
Thanks, Tracey!
He. Is. Beautiful.
I can't wait to see you all in person again!!!!
The feeling is mutual, Susan!
Oh, I love them all! Great photos, great memories.
