This is what happens when you spend a few too many days away and no one waters your arugula. It renders the leaves bitter and inedible, but at least the flowers are pretty!

I'm glad the flowers are pretty! I didn't know the leaves become bitter if you wait to long to harvest them.
Aww, well that's a pity. But you're right - the flwoers are lovely!
At least you got some great pics out of the run-away arugula! I really like this.
Well I guess if they don't taste good, it's at least nice for them to look good!
You should plant yellow squash...it makes pretty flowers, too. :) Our garden was gasping for water when we came home from vacation. Great shot!
