Back in the Saddle

All week I have been sick with dread. I've been so tired, and my boobs have been so sore that I was convinced I was pregnant. I tried with all my might to wait until Saturday (it's the first of the month!) to take a pregnancy test, but I am weak. Yesterday afternoon I took five bucks and peed on it. Then I jumped into the shower because I can't just sit there and wait. Plus I needed a shower badly. I've been working out hardcore and I was a sweaty stinky mess. While I was hosing off, Abraham Lincoln informed me that I was not pregnant. Which? Yay! But then why all the annoying pregnancy-like symptoms?

Um, because I had PMS. Yeah.

Luckily I still had some, erm, feminine supplies, which was kind of surprising considering that I've only had my period twice in the last three years. Most recently was in November of 2005. I actually didn't even know that I had them. Allison informed me of their presence.

On the plus side, I don't have to blow five bucks every month on a pregnancy test. On the minus side, I will definitely be ovulating again in about 15 days, which means I could get pregnant. If I do then that will nullify the $5 savings. And that would be the best thing about getting pregnant right now.

I guess we'll have to work on keeping our rhythm going.

Oh, honey. My parents used that method - THREE TIMES. It isn't my place to impose on anyone's beliefs. But, um, perhaps some added protection?
